Our large selection of gowns allows us to register the gown you purchase. We know that you would hate to show up at your prom only to find another person wearing the same dress that you have. Therefore, we register each gown sold to ensure that we only sell one style to any one school. Therefore, we recommend that you shop early to make sure that the gown you want will still be available for your school. Due to our size, we get over 150 exclusive gowns from Mori Lee (one of the most popular designers in our area) that no other store will have.
We have many pictures available under our "collections" section to help you get an idea of the style that you are interested in. However, nothing can replace the experience of trying on multiple gowns to find the one that makes you say, "This is the one!" We even have a collection titled, Top Ten Prom, where we feature the best selling styles from ten different designers. Due to their popularity, we have almost every one of these dresses available in our store, but many sell quickly, so it is best to come to the store to see what we currently have.
Ball gowns have been the most popular style in our area, but that has been slowly changing over the past few years. Many girls now like the slinkier styles and a few even go with short dresses. In fact, the short dress has become extremely popular in other areas of the country (ie. warmer climates), where more than half the girls elect to wear short dresses to prom. A new style this year, termed High/Low, is being offered by many of the designers. Should you go short, high/low, slinky, or stay with a traditional ball gown? We've got them all! And lots of them!!
Most girls like the idea of finding that special dress and purchasing it off the rack. However, for those who want a different color or size than what we have, we allow special orders with no additional cost. In fact, several of the hottest selling gowns are only available by order until early February, otherwise they sell out too quickly and we want to have the dress in the store for others to try on. Most orders are received within two weeks, and we do guarantee that your dress will be here with plenty of time before your prom. However, many dresses are no longer available for order as manufacturers are sold out of many of the popular styles.
Saturday's during prom season are "crazy fun" for all the girls vying for one of our 11 prom changing rooms. For more personalized service, and better access to our "prom stage" (platform surrounded by mirrors & lights), it is best to visit after school some day. We are open until 7:00 PM Monday - Thursday and until 5:00 on Friday's & Saturday's. To better serve our many visitors that travel great distances to our store, we also open on Sunday's from 11:00 - 3:00 from January 1 until April 30th.
We know that girls come in all shapes and sizes, so we stock gowns in size 0 - 30. To help you complete your ensemble we also offer a complete line of shoes, garters, purses, jewelry sets, tiara's, and a complete line of Spanx undergarments. We even offer on-site alterations to make sure that your gown fits you perfectly. With our enormous selection, and prices ranging from $99 to $699, we're sure to have a dress at the right price for you. Due to our unpredictable Wisconsin weather, we put your gown in a free zippered bag to make sure that your gown stays in pristine condition.
For customers who prefer to shop online, you can order your dress from our website and we will ship it to your home or to our store (your choice) where we will steam and press it free of charge and provide you with a free zippered bag.
